SPORTS PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

WHAT IS IT?

Integrated approach with in the training environment, to make recommendation to assist organizations enhance the performance of athletes. Performance testing is structured within the sports annual performance plan, and conducted within one Eminence’s Performance Optimization Area, or in the field. The goal is to develop more resilient injury free athletes using a wide range of training interventions including speed, agility, plyometric, endurance, flexibility / mobility, and strength and power.

Sports injuries occur due to the inability of the tissues (muscles, joints, tendons, skin) and other organs to accept the training load during exercise, either repeated loads that occur continuously or direct loads due to trauma. However, the prevention and treatment carried out by athletes or coaches have not been maximized. Many factors cause injuries to athletes, so there needs to be a way of prevention and treatment to minimize the occurrence of injuries. Injury if not treated quickly and properly can result in physical impairment or limitations. Even for athletes this injury can mean a long break and may have to leave the hobby and profession altogether. Appropriate, fast, and professional injury prevention will be able to help maintain and also improve body performance so that it can achieve maximum targets or personal best.

The Sports Performance Program will not only improve physical performance (speed, agility, plyometrics, endurance, flexibility/mobility, strength) but will also be very useful in efforts to prevent the risk of sports-related injuries. In the Sports Performance Program, a Fitness Assessment Test will be carried out at the beginning and at the end of the program to assess the level of physical fitness and assess what needs to be improved, especially regarding the components of physical fitness related to the sport that is occupied or interested in. The results of this examination will be compiled into a complete medical report and will form the basis for preparing a physical exercise program that will be made directly by the Sports Specialist Doctor.
